State Rex News

JUST A NOTE OF UPCOMING EVENTS,

We will be having our annual meeting June 13 2009 at The Olson's.  They are at 6310 W 96th St in Zionsville IN.  If you need directions be sure to call 317-873-5447.  Bring your favorite dish to share and be sure to bring a few show quality Rex (with pedigrees) for the 50/50 auction.  Proceeds from this auction go to specials posted for the State Convention.  If you have monies to donate for State Convention see Dave..he is the breed chairman.  This is great advertising folks.

If anyone has stock that they would like to advertise on the website...I would like to see a Breeders page, but need participation.  Something to think and talk about.  We also will be discussing proposed changes (in red) to the Constitution and By Laws which have not been updated in 20 years.  We will also be discussing the 2011 National Rex Show which will be hosted by our club.

We had another successful Rex Specialty (according to our Pres).  I was not able to attend due to family issues that came up at the last minute.  In hindsight, my rabbits enjoyed another boring hot day in their own cages :) I hope everyone got home safe with their bunnies.  Jody said it was HOT!

Hope to see you all at the meeting.  Please be sure to read over the changes proposed.  It might put ya to sleep, but we would like some input.

Thanks

Sue Buchanan Goote Sec Treas
