From the Desk of the Sec Treas....May 21, 2008 As of February there have been some major changes take place in the Indiana Rex club. Long time members and officers Dee and Earl Wiles passed away. Earl passed away in July of 07 at the age of 77. The passing of my father brought me back to live at the farm and care for my mother Dee. Dee passed away in February after a lengthy battle with cancer. She had spent many years as Sec Treas. They will both be missed greatly. I had been assisting Dee with most of the club activities. Long time President Randy Waggoner resigned in February passing the position to Jody Olsen. Welcome Jody! I would also like to welcome some old members that have come back to join us again Brian Robbins and his family. Welcome Brian and family! Other new members are Martin Shoemaker and family. Welcome Martin and family. The shows seem to have had a pick up on numbers of Rex shown and looks to be a great year. I am hoping that there will be a bit more time to put into the website and club activities. I have been working the kinks out of the website and hopefully will have less problems with a new hosting company. If anyone has anything they would like to see added to the website please make suggestions. I would like to add a breeders listings page for our members and urge you to send your info so it can be added. UPCOMING....June Meeting set for June 14th at the home of David and Jody Olsen.
